Principal

Peter Park, AIA, LEED AP ND

Peter Park is a registered architect and founding principal of MG Architecture Urbanism. He oversees all design developments and processes in the studio. He has extensive design and management leadership and construction expertise based on 25 years of experience in the United States and international countries. He coordinates a team of consultants in various disciplines and plays an important role in leading and managing the design and accomplishment of projects.

Prior to founding MG Architecture Urbanism, Peter Park was a design director at Perkins Eastman Architects, New York and a senior designer at Archilier Architecture, New York. His project experience in these firms was specialized on a variety of internationally notable projects of mixed-use complexes, urban design & planning, office headquarters buildings, hotels & resorts, residentials, shopping malls & retails, and commercial interior projects. This diverse project experience leads him to focus on urban place making based on human scale, finding Middle Ground between public and private realm, and pursuing designer’s identity and client’s needs and goals.

Peter Park has a Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design with a distinctive Dean’s Merit Scholarship and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Pratt Institute with AIA Henry Adams Medal. He is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey and a member of AIA (American Institute of Architects) and NCARB. He has a sustainable design expertise with a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in Neighborhood Design.
